Easily Take Care Of Fat Pockets Using Liposuction

Liposuction is a popular plastic surgery procedure used to remove undesired fat cells from areas of the body in order to improve one’s overall appearance. It is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures today.

It’s important to remember that liposuction is not a procedure for dramatic weight loss. Instead, it specifically focuses on spot reduction of trouble areas in order to contour the body. If one wishes to undergo liposuction, one will be advised to lead a healthy lifestyle after the procedure in order to preserve the results.

There are various types of liposuction available in the market, but the most popular option is tumescent liposuction. This method is one of the quickest, safest, most effective, and most precise methods of fat removal.

Tumescent liposuction involves administering a tumescent solution under the skin. This solution contains a local anesthetic to numb the region, along with saline and epinephrine to constrict blood vessels.

Taking Care Of Fat Pockets With Tumescent Liposuction

Tumescent liposuction is a method of targeted fat removal. The majority of individuals who opt for this method are those who are unable to lose pockets of stubborn fat in specific areas of their bodies.

Tumescent liposuction has the ability to target extremely small areas of the body; this precision allows it to remove the fat that most other methods cannot get rid of.

Benefits Of Tumescent Liposuction

Over the years, many forms of liposuction have come and gone. What makes tumescent liposuction so special?

This method offers a number of benefits:

  • The tumescent solution contains local anesthesia, so patients do not require any general anesthesia.

  • The tumescent solution contains epinephrine, which causes widespread capillary constriction to help avoid excessive blood loss during surgery.

  • Because there’s less blood loss and the fat cells are swollen and thus easier to remove, the procedure causes much less bruising than many other forms of liposuction.

  • The procedure has a lower post-operative recovery time than other procedures, making it more convenient for patients with busy schedules.

  • It produces excellent and natural-looking cosmetic results.

  • Its incisions do not typically require stitches.

Post-Operative Care Directions

During your tumescent-liposuction consultation, Dr. Pazmiño will advise you on the best ways to care for yourself after the procedure. These may include the following:

  • Drink plenty of water and juice to prevent dehydration, and avoid alcohol for at least 48 hours after the procedure.

  • Make sure to get adequate rest for 24 hours after the operation, after which moderately light exercises will be recommended. Two to four days after liposuction, light working out may be resumed, starting with 20 to 25% of your exercise capacity. Slowly increase this amount according to your comfort level in order to have optimal healing.

  • Wear a supportive post-surgical elastic garment in order to control post-operative swelling. Patients may need to wear the garment for three to six days.

  • Dizziness and feeling light-headed are normal after liposuction surgery.

  • Soaking in a bathtub, jacuzzi, swimming pool, or ocean must be avoided for seven days after surgery.
