Dr. Pazmino graduated with honors from Harvard University with a degree in Biochemical Sciences and earned his medical degree (M.D.) from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. The Baylor College of Medicine is located in the Texas Medical Center- the largest medical center in the world. Dr. Pazmino was then selected to the integrated General Surgery and Plastic Surgery Residency at the Baylor College of Medicine. With 15 hospitals and 46 research institutions, the Texas Medical Center is home to some of the most important discoveries in medicine and was an ideal environment to experience all aspects of plastic surgery. Dr. Pazmino also served as Plastic Surgery Chief Resident at the Baylor College of Medicine. During his residency, Dr. Pazmino won the award for Best Maxillofacial Paper from the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation and continued his research in breast cancer gene therapy, wound healing, and educating the next generation of aesthetic surgeons. Dr. Pazmino then brought this world class training to South Florida to establish Miami Aesthetic Surgery.
In South Florida, Dr. Pazmino has continued his commitment to patient safety and plastic surgery education through his membership in the Dade County Medical Association, the Florida Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Pazmino is currently the President of the Miami Society of Plastic Surgeons.
